MP-CHIP SHIELD is a professional grade asphalt based coating that is especially designed to seal and bond to the aggregate in chip sealed road surfaces and stop them from unraveling and dislodging.

Chip seal* is an economical paving method for preserving and maintaining asphalt pavements, especially the ones with sound structure. Additionally, Chip sealing is also used to improve the skid resistance. For chip sealing, the surface is sprayed with asphalt (hot or emulsified) and covered with uniform size (single size) aggregate. The aggregate cover is then rolled for proper compaction and the excess is removed by sweeping and vacuuming.
